BIRDhub supports the European Commission’s Pact for Skills
BIRDhub engages in the Pact for Skills which is the EC’s initiative promoting a shared engagement and approach to skills development. In coming years BIRDhub will work on supporting the implementation of the following four key principles of the Pact for Skills:
- Promoting a culture of lifelong learning for all;
- Building strong skills partnerships;
- Monitoring skills supply/demand and anticipating skills needs;
- Working against discrimination and for gender equality and equal opportunities.
BIRDhub will build its efforts in promoting upskilling and reskilling initiatives in the Baltics, namely will work on building skills ecosystem and contribute to experience and good practice exchange on skills needs, and develop an awareness regarding the upskilling and reskilling opportunities and funding opportunities.
